DITCH WITCH® ELECTRONICS HORIZONTAL DIRECTIONAL DRILLING BEACONS Beacon Ditch Witch® drilling beacons are as durable as they are dependable in providing bore-path data. As part of our comprehensive tracking system, their primary purpose is to detect and communicate the downhole tool’s roll and pitch to the tracker. Power, frequency and grade options enable the user to customize capability and cost. With this state-of-the-art technology, you can trust our beacons to look out for your best interest. KEY FEATURES Innovative design sets Ditch Witch drilling beacons apart from the competition. These rugged beacons feature a shock-resistant composite housing, special battery springs and unique rubber end caps that provide protection from shock and vibration, and enhance overall performance. Optional dual-frequency system helps the user to see through interference from rebar, power lines and other sources of unwanted signal generation and distortion. The dual-frequency system allows the user to change frequencies downhole and on the fly, so they don’t have to interrupt the bore’s progress. Our beacons are designed to be rebuilt at the Ditch Witch dealership, to reduce overall cost of ownership.
