1.1 Product Life The life of an electric double layer capacitor is limited. Its capacitance will decrease and its internal resistance will increase over time. The life of a capacitor greatly depends on the ambient temperature, humidity, applied voltage and discharging currents. Capacitor life can be extended when these parameters are set well below the ratings.
