Purpose The JBT Pulper/Finisher reduces tomatoes, fruits and vegetables to a semi-liquid or liquid state, eliminates pits from stoned fruit pulp, separates seeds, skins and extraneous particulate material from pureed pulp and reduces the size of pre-heated pureed vegetables used in baby food. Alternative uses include mixing and blending ingredients during the finishing operation. Optional Equipment • Hopper in-feed is available for large particulate product feeding, in place of the pipe in-feed. • Brushes are available in place of or in combination with paddles, recommended for fruit with pits. • FiIter screens are available in many different perforation configurations to accommodate many different applications. • Flo-Mor backing screens have a greater number of smaller openings, which permit greater exerted pressure on the screen by the paddles’ action.
