Universal Flame Test Lamp Kit Product Data Sheet Universal Test Lamp Kit The Universal Flame Test Lamp is designed for use with our Ultraviolet, Ultraviolet/Infrared, and Triple Infrared flame detectors. The TL-MP-EX(-X) is a rechargeable, hand-held unit that is certified Class I Division1 for hazardous areas. The TL-MPEX(-X) tests the response of the detectors with a highly accurate fire simulation that utilizes authentic ultraviolet and infrared radiation sources. The test performed is identical to Ultraviolet detector, an Ultraviolet/Infrared detector, or a Multi-spectral Infrared type of flame detector.
