The pump unit features a high-pressure System that supplies oil to the two main jacking cylinders and a low-pressure system that supplies oil to the TBM and conveyor. A 100 HP (74 kW) auxiliary power pack can be added to double the low-pressure hydraulic flow. The skid serves as the foundation for the pump unit, yoke, haul unit,TBM, and pipe and transfers thrust to the reaction block. The 5000 Pump Unit controls and gauges are accessible and clearly visible to the operator. It is housed in a heavy duty mtal cab with locking folded doors to prevent vandalism. The 5000 Pump Unit has the power pack built in, positioned at the back of the skid.The pump unit houses the jacking cylinders and hydraulic power. The auxiliary pump unit offers an extra 100 HP (74.5 kW) of power to the pump unit. The thrust yoke is pushed by hydraulic cylinders on the pump unit and is sized to match the product pipe.This yoke features extension rings fora larger pipe diameter. Extended skid base sections are available for long sections of pipe. Skids lengths range from 30-270 inch (762 - 6,585 mm).
