FOUNDRY TECHNOLOGY 2 3 Casting on highest level Since the company foundation in 1708 components of metallic materials are cast. Besides an iron and steel a bronze foundry was erected around 1890. Nowadays mainly sand castings of copper and copper alloys are produced but also castings of high and low alloyed steels and nickel alloys.
