Besides an iron and steel a bronze foundry was erected around 1890. Nowadays mainly sand castings of copper and copper alloys are produced but also castings of high and low alloyed steels and nickel alloys. For the hand- or automatically formed parts resinoid-bonded sands are used. This ensures an excellent surface as well as very close tolerances. Components with special requirements can be cast as per the shell moulding process using ceramic moulds and ceramic cores....
