Product catalog summary
General Information
ZIRCAR Ceramics’ Alumina Type SALI-2 is a high-quality material composed of polycrystalline alumina fibers in a mullite binder matrix. It is designed for high-temperature applications up to 1800°C (3192°F), offering excellent thermal insulation, hot strength, and dimensional stability. SALI-2 is resistant to chemical attacks, except from hydrofluoric acid, phosphorous acid, and strong alkalis. It is pre-fired, contains no organic binders, and does not emit smoke or odors when heated.
