Dry hopping is a technique used in brewing, with some hops added after the wort has been cooled to increase the aroma and flavor of the product. Some beer styles, like IPAs and pale ales have strong hoppy flavors. Most of the flavor and aroma compounds in the hops are essential oils, but these boil off easily at high temperatures.
