Product catalog summary
Overview of Chilling System
The chilling system is crucial in a brewery for rapidly cooling wort from approximately 95°C to 10°C post-brewing and maintaining optimal temperatures during fermentation and storage. The system is designed to minimize energy costs and microbiological risks, using glycol for chilling fermentation and serving tanks, and ice water for rapid wort cooling via a plate heat exchanger. Operational data is centrally collected and stored.

Chilling Piping
The system includes a network of insulated copper piping, customized during installation to manage the cooling of fermentation and serving tanks.

Chilling System Features
  • Standard Systems: Suitable for simple breweries, featuring a hermetic compressor, external condenser on a carbon steel frame, and a cooled glycol tank with a painted steel casing.
  • Smart Systems: Constructed with stainless steel for corrosion resistance, equipped with adjustable feet, welded plastic tanks with stainless steel stubs, and compressors with flexible suspensions to reduce vibrations. The system supports remote servicing if connected to the internet and includes multiple circulation pumps for ice water and tanks.

Optional Features
  • Stainless steel frame, cover, and electrical cabinet
  • Multiple compressors for operational safety
  • Shell-and-tube heat exchanger
  • Semi-hermetic, repairable compressor
  • Oil management system for multi-compressor setups
  • Digital control with remote internet access
  • Environmentally friendly design

CHILLING SYSTEM Chilling is one of the most important support functions in a brewery. The main assignment of the chilling system is to rapidly cool the wort from approx. 95°C to approx. 10°C after the brewing process, as well as maintain proper temperatures during the fermentation and the storage processes. Our compact, integrated chilling system contains all the necessary elements to provide stable cooling throughout the brewing processes, minimizes energy costs and microbiological concerns. The glycol is used to chill both the fermentation and serving tanks, while the ice water – to chill the...

CHILLING SYSTEM The Smart cooling system has a frame and cover made entirely of stainless steel for corrosion resistance. The entire frame is equipped with high bearing capacity feets with adjustable height. The liquid tanks are welded plastic tanks with stainless steel stubs. The compressors are fixed with flexible suspensions, and vibrations due to their operation are dampened by the installation of compensators towards the pipeline system. All operating parameters of the system can be archived and traced on the central computer. Remote servicing is available if the central computer is connected...
