Overview
Cooled tanks, known as DRUCK TANKs or BBTs, are designed for storing fermented beers under pressure. They are available in both vertical and horizontal configurations, with the latter featuring inliners.

Tank Body Features

The tanks have torispherical tops and bottoms.
They include a service manhole with a thermally insulated cover, seamlessly integrated to avoid cleaning blind spots.
Constructed from stainless steel (Wnr. 1.4301), the interior is etched and passivated to a roughness of at least 1.0 µm to prevent infection points.

Chilling Features

Equipped with 1 to 3 cooling jackets, depending on size.
Cooling jackets use advanced 'pillow' technology with plasma spot welding for high pressure resistance.

Coating and Thermal Insulation

100 mm polyurethane foam is used for thermal insulation, with a heat loss coefficient of 24 mW/mK.
Stainless steel pressure casing is applied via automatic welding.
Optional surface quality for the exterior is available.

Accessories

All pipes and accessories adhere to DIN 11850-11852 standards and are made from Wnr. 1.4301 material.
Each tank includes pressure and vacuum relief valves, a quality rabbet apparatus, and a stainless steel manometer.
Technological pipelines are solid-drawn to eliminate cleaning blind spots.
Equipped with CIP washing heads and thermodes for temperature measurement.

Fittings

Customizable tank sizes (volume, diameter, height) based on location requirements.
Service manholes can be positioned on the top or side for vertical tanks.
Thermal insulation options include polyurethane foam or glass wool.
