Driveline and Chassis Technology Tractor steering axle ZF-TERRASTEER The steering axle series ZF-TERRASTEER covers nearly all 4x4 applications. During the development phase of this new series, ZF made full use of its experience in the field of tractor axles gained over many years. Developing and producing together with the ZF location in Brazil gives credit to the requirements of global competitiveness. A high ratio in the planetary drive ensures optimum efficiency, lean axle design and high ground clearance with high admissible loads. Steering angles of up to 58° provide high levels of manoeuvrability, combined with lowest soil stress due to precise steering geometry. The results of this innovation are long service life, high tractive effort and extreme versatility of the TSA series. The steering axle ZF-TERRASTEER is characterized by its flexible, modular construction; optionally available with brakes, differential lock and steering angle sensor. The steering axle series TSA currently covers models with a performance range from 60 HP to 230 HP.
