Overview
The SMC 180 series is a range of reciprocating compressors from YORK Refrigeration, designed for heavy-duty industrial, offshore, and marine applications. These compressors are known for their durability and ability to operate under tough conditions, making them a reliable choice for large industrial refrigeration installations.

Specifications
The series includes two sizes with displacements of 1283 or 1710 m3/h at a maximum speed of 1000 rpm. They are suitable for almost all refrigerants and can be used for high stage or booster duty. The compressors are an economical alternative to screw compressors.

The SMC 186 and SMC 188 models have different capacities and dimensions, with nominal capacities based on specific conditions for refrigerants R717 and R22.
