Linear motor single axis robots

Product catalog summary
Overview
The document outlines the specifications and features of the PHASER series linear motor single-axis robots, emphasizing their suitability for high-speed, long-stroke applications without critical speed limitations. These robots are designed for efficient long-distance transfers, with various models offering different payload capacities and stroke lengths.

Product Lineup
The PHASER series consists of two main types: MF and MR. The MF type features a flat motor with core, ideal for high-power and long-stroke applications, supporting a maximum stroke of 4050 mm and payloads up to 160 kg. The MR type is lightweight and compact, driven by a shaft motor, with a maximum stroke of 1050 mm and a payload of 5 kg.

Key Features
  • Maximum Speed and Stroke: Capable of speeds up to 2500 mm/s, with the MF type supporting strokes up to 4000 mm and the MR type up to 1050 mm.
  • Double-Carrier Option: Standard feature allowing two carriers on one robot for space-saving and cost-effective operations.
  • Heavy Object Transfer: The MF type can handle payloads up to 160 kg, suitable for large items like LCD panels.
  • Cost Efficiency: In-house manufacturing of major parts, including magnetic scales, significantly reduces costs.
  • Dust-Proof Structure: Stainless steel shutters prevent foreign object entry, ensuring durability and reliability.
  • High Accuracy: Offers repeated positioning accuracy of +/-5 μm, with a high-resolution magnetic scale providing 1 μm accuracy.

Specifications and Models
The document details specifications for various models within the MF and MR types, including dimensions, maximum payloads, speeds, and stroke lengths. It also provides guidance on ordering methods, installation directions, and optional features like cable carriers and grease types.

Installation and Safety Precautions
Guidelines are provided for handling, installation environments, and safety precautions, stressing the importance of avoiding strong magnetic fields and ensuring proper installation to prevent failures.

Conclusion
The PHASER series offers versatile and high-performance solutions for industrial applications requiring precise, high-speed, and long-distance transfers. Its robust design and cost-effective manufacturing make it a competitive choice in the market.

PHASER Series Product Lineup Maximum speed 2.5 m/sec. and no critical speed limit Suitable for heavy object transfer. Maximum payload 160 kg The ultimate appeal of the linear motor single-axis robot is that there are restrictions on critical speed like ball screw. The maximum speed does not decrease even with long-distance transfer. Additionally, the maximum stroke of the MR type is set to up to 1050 mm and that of the MF type is set to up to 4000 mm with standard settings. In particular, the cycle time of the longdistance transfer is greatly improved. The maximum payload of the MF type using...

Linear scale developed by YAMAHA YAMAHA originally developed a new linear scale based on its excellent magnetic signal detection technology. Magnetic scale provides high environment resistance. YAMAHA's magnetic scale is resistant to dirt and can be used in an environment where grease or cutting fluid sometimes splashes. Magnetic signals recorded in the magnetic scale are detected and interpolated to achieve a highly accurate resolution of 1 pm. Semi-absolute specifications Repeated positioning accuracy: +/-5 pm The current position is obtained by reading the signal recorded in the linear scale....
