Solids Dispenser SDB-1A 01 The bench-top Solids Dispenser SDB-1A can dispense calibrated volumetric doses (and multiples) of solids in a highly precise and repeatable fashion. This version is prepared to be integrated into lab automation solutions and can be controlled from PLC controllers. The SDB-1A increases lab productivity and at the same time ensures process accuracy. Compared to other techniques the volumetric dosing is particularly fast (2 - 3 sec. per dose), largely independent of dose size. The dispensing heads are interchangeable to enable running several materials with different dose size and no cross-contamination. A small dosing head is capable of dispensing from 5 mg up to 300 mg (depending on material) in a single shot, or higher for incremental dispensing. A large dosing head can dispense from 5 mg up to 8 g (depending on material) and multiples. Workflow Solids are filled in the transparent container. Reservoirs can be customized to process requirements. Dosing heads are detachable and can be swapped for rapid switch of material without cleaning and risk of cross-contamination. Dosing can be optimised for material properties by controlling calibration level / timing and by selecting special dosing disks and powder path elements available.
