The P635 is a single-width, 3U, PXIbus module with eight frequency measurement channels. It features unique circuitry for monitoring a wide range of frequencies without changing module settings. It includes TTL inputs and differential input circuits with filtering and hysteresis for high noise immunity. The module supports AC or DC coupling of differential inputs on a per-channel basis.
The module supports analog and TTL signal sources, with differential analog input paths for high noise immunity. The internal clock can be set to 1 MHz or 10 MHz, affecting the frequency measurement range and resolution. The observation window is programmable from 1 ms to 1.024 s, affecting counting accuracy and update speed.
The P635 includes a Plug and Play driver and application examples for configuration and use. The user interface allows for starting/stopping acquisition, setting input ranges, and configuring various input and clock settings.
