High-Flow-Pleated Cartridges & Lenticular Cartridge Filters

Product catalog summary
High-Flow Elements Overview
High-Flow Elements are filter cartridges designed with a large filter surface area and a wide filtrate outlet cross-section, allowing for high solid retention and high flow rates. They require specific filter housings to accommodate their dimensions and number of cartridges.
High Flow-Pleated Cartridges
  • WFHFF High Flow-Pleated Cartridge: Features horizontal pleats, available in lengths from 20" to 60" with a diameter of 152mm. Made from polypropylene, it offers 97-99% retention efficiency and is available in two adapter configurations (Type P and Type M) with different flow directions.
  • Technical Data: Filter medium is polypropylene, with a filter ratio of 1-100 µm, and a maximum temperature of 80°C. The filter surface area ranges from 4.5m² to 13.5m² depending on length.
  • Applications: Suitable for water treatment, cooling water, cleaning baths, beverages, fine chemicals, and acids.
High Flow-Pleated Cartridge with Multi-Layer Structure
  • WFHFC High Flow-Pleated Cartridge: Utilizes a multi-layer structure with options for polypropylene or glass fiber media. Offers absolute filter efficiencies from 0.5 µm to 90 µm.
  • Technical Data: Features a stable 2-layered outer net, with a filter surface area from 2.8m² to 8.4m². Maximum temperature for polypropylene is 80°C and for glass fiber is 120°C.
  • Applications: Similar to WFHFF, with additional depth filter effect for high dirt hold capacity.
CLC Lenticular Filter Cartridges
  • Made from cellulose with special polymer binders, available in Ø12" and Ø16" sizes. They are suitable for removing colloidal impurities and as pre-filters.
  • Technical Data: Includes options with diatomite, activated carbon, and cellulose. Maximum temperature is 80°C, with a differential pressure of 2 bar at 20°C.
  • Applications: Used in chemical, pharmaceutical, cosmetic, beverage, and food industries.
WP Lenticular Filter Housings
  • Constructed from stainless steel AISI316L, these housings are designed for CLC Lenticular filter elements. They offer easy cleaning and sterilization, with a filter area capacity up to 14.4m².
  • Technical Data: Maximum pressure is 6 bar, and temperature is 95°C (sterilization at 150°C).
  • Applications: Similar to CLC Lenticular filters, with additional features for sanitary use.

High-Flow-Pleated Cartridge, nominal, horizontal pleated High Flow-Pleated Cartridge, horizontal pleated WFHFF High-Flow-Pleated cartridges with diameter of 152mm and lengths from 20“ to 60“ are suitable for the very high flow rates. The internal filter structure is horizontal pleated and for all lengths continuously made from one piece of filter media with 97-99% retention efficiency. This creates a lot of space for high dirt hold capacity and long life time. High-Flow-Pleated Cartridges are available in the two adapter-configurations type P and type M, see picture below. The flow rate of type P is...

Lenticular Cartridge Filters CLC Lenticular filter cartridge CLC Lenticular filter cartridges consist of cellulose with special polymer binders. Three types are available: the XE-filter layer with diatomite, the Proc3-filter layer with activated carbon and the W2-support layer used as alluvial filter for filter agents. The filter reaction of the applied XE-filter layer is due to the combined characteristics of the mechanical sieve-action of the filter medium as well as to the binding action of the impure substances resulting from the diatomite which it contains. CLC Lenticular filter cartridges are manufactured...

Lenticular Cartridge Filters WP Lenticular filter housings WP housings are used for the insertion of CLC Lenticular filter elements and are made of stainless steel AISI316L (1.4404). The housing fastening of the standard versions come with a v-clamp; the fastening can also be delivered with swinging bolt or bracket screw. The construction of the WP housings is optimal in regard to cleaning and sterilisation. In this respect the housing bolt can be lifted off the top and the separation of the dirt- and clean side takes place directly on the retaining plate of the filter element without an intermediate...
