Application and Functionality:

The WIWA Low Pressure Pump DA is designed for applying foundry black wash, which creates a sealed surface between sand and metal. This is crucial for the release of the piece from the mold post-casting. The black wash is applied using airless spraying technology, which reduces overspray compared to air-assisted systems. The pump can be used on both Styrofoam and sand models to achieve smooth casting surfaces.

Advantages of WIWA Technology:
  • Reduces overspray significantly
  • Compatible with various solids content in black wash
Global Presence:

WIWA operates globally with headquarters in Germany and additional locations in the USA, China, and the UAE.

WIWA LOW PRESSURE PUMP DA – WIWA PROFESSIONAL Foundry washes create a sealed surface between the sand and metal necessary to allow the release of the piece from the form after casting. Black wash is applied through spraying in the fluid state using a WIWA Low Pressure Pump DA 10:1. Either Styrofoam or sand models can be coated. The coating serves to eliminate the rough finish of the form and core to produce smooth casting surfaces. Through the application of the wash using WIWA Airless technology (airless spraying), significantly less overspray is produced as compared to air-assisted systems....
