Product catalog summary
Introduction
The document discusses the use of portable gas mixers in industrial settings, particularly in companies using welding robots where a central mixed gas supply is unavailable. These mixers allow for on-the-spot adjustment of gas mixtures, enhancing flexibility and reducing costs.

Specifications
The gas mixer is designed to work with Argon and CO2, allowing for a CO2 composition of 0-25% with the balance being Argon. It operates with gas inlet pressures ranging from 4.5 to 230 bar and an outlet pressure of up to 3 bar. The mixture output is between 8-25 Nl/min, with a setting accuracy of ±1% absolute at 0-25% or ±2% absolute at 0-100%. The mixer is housed in a robust aluminum casing, weighing approximately 3.2 kg, and measuring 220 x 160 x 140 mm.

Procedures
The gas mixer is installed between gas cylinders using standard fittings and does not require additional pressure regulators due to its integrated pressure control mechanism. It is operated using two adjustment knobs for CO2 percentage and gas flow rate. The mixer can be easily moved and connected to different cylinders as needed.

Practical Application
Valeri Kwashenkov, an engineer at Belenergomash, highlights the practical benefits of using the WITT BM-2M gas mixers in a large plant setting. The mixers allow for flexible gas mixture adjustments without the need for multiple pre-mixed gas cylinders, reducing costs and simplifying procurement.

Benefits
The main benefits of the gas mixer include its portability, ease of operation, and cost-effectiveness. It operates without an electrical power supply and provides safety features such as pressure control and safety valves. The mixer is suitable for use at single workstations and can supplement or replace a central gas supply system.

Standards and Certification
The company is certified to ISO 9001:2000 and ISO 14001 standards, ensuring quality and environmental management compliance.

Case Report-1

Portable gas mixer for various applications on the spot, adjusts to individual needs Case Report Often in companies that use welding robots the mixed gas supply is not available at all locations within the plant. Many companies are not even equipped with a central mixed gas supply system. In these cases the work is conducted using locally supplied gas, which is delivered directly to the welding area. More and more often small gas mixers are used to adapt the gas mixture composition on the spot, i.e. where the work is carried out. An important advantage resulting from installing the gas mixer directly on the cylinder is the possibility to move it to any location in the plant. The gas mixer is always where the work is to be performed.

You don't need to handle several pre-mix cylinders because you can obtain the required mixtures from a cylinder of Argon and a cylinder of CO2 in proportions of 0-25 % of CO2 and the balance Argon. The gas mixer can be installed very easily using standard fittings. The nuts on the mixer can be tightened using a standard wrench. The shielding gas is supplied to the welding area using a standard hose. The gas mixer starts to operate once the gas cylinder valves are opened. Additional cylinder pressure regulators are not required, as the gas mixer is fitted with an integrated pressure control mechanism...
