Reinforcement consists of steel mats or dowel bars that are either laid ahead of or inserted by the slipform paver. The ISF 94 / ISF 94 i accepts the concrete from a truck and spreads the material evenly across the previously laid steel reinforcement. The slipform paver following behind places the concrete at the specified width, compacting and smoothing it at the same time.
