WR 2000 – a winner in its class, and becoming indispensable The WR 2000’s working width of 2 m and working depth of 500 mm make it the smallest model in the range of powerful Wirtgen cold recyclers and soil stabilizers. Nevertheless, there is no need at all for it to hide away from the big jobs. Quite the opposite is true: Its broad range of applications, economical mode of operation and free-view concept are application-related advantages that make the WR 2000 stand out favourably against comparable machines in this market segment. The machine’s hallmark, however, is its exceptional...

Always up to the mark with 4-fold lifting column design Its sturdy machine frame is the made-to-measure suit of our cold recycler and soil stabilizer WR 2000. It is ideally tailored for excellent all-terrain mobility and large ground clearance. The four wheels are suspended individually at the frame, and the machine can be levelled to the required height via four hydraulically adjustable cylinders. The milling and mixing rotor can be adjusted via a massive crank, while the rotor housing is rigidly attached to the chassis. Ride the waves in style

Flexible operator’s platform provides best possible view The ingenious free-view concept implemented in the WR 2000 fully satisfies even highest demands. The operator’s cabin can be displaced far beyond the right edge of the machine at the mere push of a button. Combined with the fully glazed cabin, this feature provides a full view of the surrounding area of operation and in particular of the milling edge. Expensive additional work steps that would normally be required in difficult sections can therefore be reduced to a minimum. Free view even in tricky situations

Ergonomics is high on our list of priorities Wirtgen’s design engineers have taken the offensive yet again with the ergonomical design of the WR 2000. All control elements in the recycler’s cabin are arranged perfectly and in an ergonomically optimized manner. The clearly structured Cockpit Graphic Centre (CGC) is located within the operator’s immediate field of vision and is height-adjustable. The steering wheel can also be adapted individually in height and tilt. But there’s even more: The seat console with related instruments and CGC can be swivelled by up to 90°. All these features help...

Manoeuvrable and compact: two highly effective features The WR 2000’s compact design holds lots of potential. Its transport height of 3 m, width of 2.55 m and low weight enable the machine to be transported from one job location to the next quickly and easily on a low-loader. A particular highlight: The machine does not require a special transport permit, which pays off in higher daily production rates instead of annoying and time-killing authorization procedures. Yet another ace is the recycler’s manoeuvrability and excellent all-terrain mobility. Different steering modes underline its...

Superior ease in open ground The WR 2000 always wins the upper hand when working in open ground. Its powerful, permanent all-wheel drive prevents the stabilizer from getting bogged down even when working in deep or soft soils. We have additionally equipped the machine with hydraulic lifting columns to ensure large ground clearance. All four wheels are suspended to the machine frame individually and can be adjusted in height independently. In this way, the machine can always work “in balance” or with the desired inclination. Additionally supported by a hydraulic differential lock, the WR...
