Depending on application requirements, the material is either loaded on heavy-duty dump trucks via the 11.3 m long discharge conveyor, discharged to the side of the miner by means of the slewable discharge conveyor or deposited in a windrow behind the machine. The counterweight provides stability, for example, when discharging the mined material to the side of the machine. The extremely strict mining regulations are fully complied with: the miner’s access ladders and walkways have been produced from non-slip materials and are brightly illuminated – as are all of the servicing points.
