Operation

The MPDR08-01 is a direct-acting 3-way spool-type proportional pressure reducing valve with relief included. It maintains constant pressure at the consumer. When de-energized, port 2 is closed, and port 1 (consumer) connects to port 3 (tank). Increasing control current causes the solenoid coil to exert a proportional force on the control spool, defining the regulated pressure at port 2. If pressure at consumer port 1 exceeds control pressure due to external force, the control piston pushes against the spring, relieving the consumer to tank port 3.

Installation Dimensions

Order types include cartridge and body, body only, and cartridge only. Installation torque is specified at 27.1 Nm max.
