This valve is a pilot-operated check valve with a non-sealed pilot, steel seat, and non-vented design. It allows free flow from port 2 to port 1 and blocks reverse flow. Pressure at pilot port 3 opens the valve from port 1 to port 2, with the required pilot pressure at port 3 being directly proportional to the load pressure at port 1. Pressure at port 2 opposes pilot pressure.
The performance curve illustrates the pressure drop versus flow rate, indicating how the valve performs under different flow conditions.
