Operation

Direct-acting relief valves are normally closed, pressure-limiting valves used to protect hydraulic components from pressure transients. When inlet pressure reaches the valve setting, it opens to the tank, throttling flow to limit pressure rise. These valves are smooth, quiet, essentially zero leak, dirt tolerant, and fast responding.
