Features

Operation

The counterbalance valve with pilot assist is designed to control an overrunning load. It allows free flow from the directional valve (port 2) to the load (port 1) and controls flow from port 1 to port 2 using a direct-acting, pilot-assisted relief valve. Pilot assist at port 3 reduces the effective setting of the relief valve based on the pilot ratio.
