1632 GOLD OD/ID/C-Axis Carbide Die Grinder A western PA based mold & die maker selects Weldon for their Carbide OD, ID, & non-round grinding application. The model 1632 GOLD will swing (& grind) parts up to 16” in diameter & has the power & stiffness needed for the special demands of Carbide grinding. This machine is equipped with a programmable workhead (C-axis) for non-round grinding. The workhead also features a swivel base with rotary position sensor for digital readout of swivel angle. Additional features include Helical Interpolation, ZAxis Chopping, Modulating Wheel Speed for chatter control, EZPunch software, & MT Connect compatibility. System suppliers: O.S.
