Visual Level Indicators (VLI) Smart Line
The Line 50 with integrated valves, Type 34110-O, complies with PED 2014/68/EU and harmonized standards. It includes a float chamber made of 316/316L and valves of 316L with pure PTFE. The standard float is 316L, with other materials available upon request. It supports a maximum operating pressure of 50 bar(g) at 20°C and an operating temperature range from -80°C to +250°C. The maximum connecting distance is 5600mm in a single-piece design.
The device is suitable for fluids with a density of ≥ 0.55g/cm³ and a viscosity of ≤ 150cSt. The design pressure and temperature are determined by the lowest pressure-temperature rating of any connecting flange or fitting.
Standard connections include EN-connecting flanges per EN1092-1, with optional ANSI/class150 and class300 flanges. The shut-off valve size is DN6.
Gaskets are available in fibre compound Aramid/NBR for temperatures below 150°C and pure PTFE for temperatures below 250°C. Accessories include fixation brackets, magnetic switches, and transmitters.
Test reports are provided according to EN10204:2004-3.1 for main pressure-bearing parts as per PED specifications.
Special considerations include pressure-temperature ratings and the use of damping springs for steam or condensate applications. A float selection diagram offers guidance on permissible pressures based on fluid density.
