The TempEvent temperature test chamber complies with industry standards such as IEC 60068-2-1, ISO 16750-4, and MIL-STD-810 G. A standards finder tool is available online to assist users in selecting the appropriate product. The system must accommodate the specimen's heat dissipation.
The chamber includes a LED status bar, web panel, master switch panel, and stainless steel access ports. It features adjustable vibration-absorbing feet and heavy-duty castors for mobility. The master switch panel offers an independent temperature limiter, digital and analog I/O, and interfaces like Ethernet and USB.
Installation drawings detail external dimensions and access ports for chamber sizes from 180 to 2000 liters, with additional feedthroughs for larger models.
Chambers vary in size with temperature change rates of 3 K/min and 5 K/min, operating between +180°C and -42°C or -70°C. They require a 400 V supply voltage with different power and current needs.
The exterior is galvanized steel with a powder-coated finish, while the interior has stainless steel walls and a floor with a rail system for grid positioning. It includes a platinum temperature sensor and a psychrometric humidity measurement system.
Optional features include a mobile version with vibration damping feet, storage packages, and customizable web panel positions. Additional access ports can be added.
Safety includes independent and software temperature limiters, a safety temperature limiter, and a potential-free contact for heat-emitting specimens.
Access ports for cable insertion are available in diameters of 50 mm, 80 mm, and 125 mm, allowing multiple cables to be fed into the chamber.
The door has a multi-insulated, heated viewing window (520 mm x 418 mm), with a right-side hinge and a flat notch port option. A privacy screen can make the window opaque, and door seals are replaceable.
A demineralization unit for humidification devices is pressure-resistant up to 6 bar, with an activated carbon filter to reduce chlorine content. Replacement cartridges and algae prevention packs are available.
Includes drawers on telescopic rails with a 30 kg load per drawer and a permissible floor load of up to 500 kg. Additional grid and reinforced shelves are available.
A compressed air dryer is regulated for dew points down to -12 °C and -20 °C, with a capacitive humidity measuring system.
The recirculating air volume is adjustable, with fan speed settings from 30% to 100%.
Includes factory and DAkkS calibration for specific temperature and climate values, with standards for Bosch and a Pharma package with qualification documentation and alarm systems.
The test space is made of high-alloy stainless steel for corrosion protection, with options for reducing silicone content. A sprinkler system and IR irradiation equipment are available.
Additional digital I/O and analog value measurement cards are available. The temperature range can extend up to +200 °C, with an energy meter for energy analysis.
Includes a safety package for hazard levels 3-5, ESD protection, test chamber release via digital input, and various door contact switches and signal lamps.
Options for water cooling, hose sets for cooling water networks, and deep freeze stages with refrigerant R23 are detailed, along with an electronic cooling water controller.
S!MPATI and WEBSeason software are described for controlling and monitoring tests. S!MPATI networks up to 99 systems, while WEBSeason offers a web-based interface for remote access and control.
