Applications: The 2-C-STP-Adhesive is versatile, used in automotive manufacturing, bonding door panels, assembly bonding, skirting, laminate laying, stair construction, façade bonding, glass bonding in furniture, solar and wind power systems, sign fixation, and various industrial applications.

Special Properties: This adhesive is low emission, elastic, solvent-free, compatible with natural stone, non-foaming, and exhibits low shrinkage. It offers good adhesion to various surfaces, smooth surface finish, fast hardening, high joint strength, material expansion compensation, weather resistance, UV stability, and can be powder-coated at temperatures up to 200°C.

Technical Data: The adhesive is a two-component STP reaction adhesive with a grey color when hard-dry. It has a density of approximately 1.49 g/cm³ and a Shore hardness of about 63 Shore A. The viscosity at 25°C is approximately 215,000 mPa.s. The mixing ratio is 2:1 by volume, with a breaking elongation of about 280%. Pot life at 20°C is approximately 11 minutes, with a processing time of 8 minutes and functional strength achieved in about 1 hour. Full curing takes about 24 hours to 75% and 7 days to final strength.

Operational Conditions: The adhesive operates between -40°C to +100°C, with temporary exposure up to +200°C. Processing temperatures range from +7°C to +30°C. Tensile shear strength is approximately 3.5 N/mm² at 20°C and 2.5 N/mm² at 80°C.

Preparation and Bonding: Surfaces must be dry, dust-free, and grease-free. Pre-treatment may be necessary for certain materials. The adhesive is applied using a static mixer and requires fixing until functional strength is reached. Special care is needed for bonding metals and absorbent materials to prevent corrosion.

Instructions and Safety: Only trained personnel should use the product. Bonding should be tested for specific applications. Safety data sheets should be consulted.

Cleaning and Storage: Fresh adhesive can be cleaned with COSMO® CL-300.150, while cured adhesive requires mechanical removal. Store in a dry place at 15°C to 25°C, with a shelf life of 12 months.

Packaging and Accessories: Available in 400 ml cartridges with various static mixers and pressure guns as accessories.

Technical Data Sheet 2-C-STP-Adhesive After they have been fit together, the parts must be fixed and pressed until functional strength has been reached. Remove oozing adhesive when it is fresh. After work stoppages, make sure to change the static mixer within the specified time. After the end of work, the used static mixer remains on the cartridge unit; if work starts again, the static mixer is to be replaced. If necessary, remove hardened adhesive from the cartridge nozzle.
