PP Hot-Fill Bottles for Beverage It is always a dilemma for beverage producers to choose between PET & PP for their hot-fill products. Traditionally, most PP bottles were moulded using extrusion blow moulding technology but the sealing properties are always not as good as PET hot-fill bottle made in ISBM. Because of WEI LI’s continuous R&D, many customers are able to apply WEI LI’s reheat stretch blow moulding machine for production of highly clarified PP bottles for their hot-fill beverage products. Recently, WEI LI has assisted a customer to develop a PP hot-fill bottle for soya milk to replace the old PP bottle moulded in extrusion blow moulding machine. WEI LI provides a cost-effective solution for PP hot-fill packaging which significantly improves their marketability. High Clarity Heat Resistant Smooth Neck Finish Clarity of PP bottles is significantly improved by using 2-stage SBM machines. PP can be used for hot-fill products with temperature over 100°C, such as fruit juice, jam, tea, etc... Bottles moulded in 2-stage SBM machines have smooth neck finish which could ensure sealing properties and safe for drinking directly. PP is recyclable. It helps in reducing the carbon footprint of your products. PP is a cost-effective alternative even for cold fill packaging because of its excellent moisture and aroma barrier properties. PP has lower density when compared to PET and PP bottles are about 40% less costly by volume.
