Let the activator evaporate approx. 30 seconds before joining the bonding parts. Apply the cyanoacrylate in a sufficient quantity on the non-activated surface and join the two bonding parts with pressure. A surplus of adhesive can be covered with Activator Spray and after curing it can be removed, if necessary. When applied to absorbing surfaces, like for example wood or foam etc., and all chemically-treated surfaces, like for example zinc galvanized metals etc., the activator’s effectiveness lasts approx. one minute. With non-absorbent surfaces the Activator?s effectiveness lasts up to approx. twelve hours. Before activating the surfaces, it is necessary to clean and degrease them (e.g. with WEICON Surface Cleaner). A processing temperature of +10 to +30°C is recommended.
