DHT 2 Series Digital Hydraulic Testers

DHT 2 Series Digital Hydraulic Testers

Product catalog summary
Overview
The DHT 2 Series Digital Hydraulic Testers are designed for precise measurement of flow, pressure, temperature, and speed in hydraulic systems. These testers are essential for diagnosing faults in hydraulic pumps, motors, valves, and hydrostatic transmissions, thereby reducing downtime and aiding in preventive maintenance.

Key Features
  • Flow measurement range: 10-800 lpm (2.5-210 US gpm)
  • Pressure capacity: Up to 480 bar (7000 psi)
  • Accurate measurement capabilities for flow, pressure, temperature, and speed
  • Built-in loading valve and bi-directional flow for easy testing
  • Internal oil by-pass for overpressure protection
  • Low power consumption with automatic power-off feature
  • Portable and lightweight design with an angled case for better viewing
  • Infra-red phototachometer with 'On Target' indicator

Specifications
  • Model variations include DHT302, DHT402, DHT602, and DHT802 with different flow and pressure ranges
  • Functional in ambient temperatures from 5 to 40°C (41-104°F)
  • Accuracy: Flow ±1%, Pressure ±1.6%, Temperature ±1°C, Speed ±0.25%
  • Speed range: 300 - 6000 rpm
  • Dimensions and weight vary by model
  • Construction materials include painted mild steel and high tensile aluminium

Operation
The testers use microprocessor-based technology for high accuracy and flexibility. They feature a liquid crystal display for data presentation, with options for fast display refresh. The turbine block is designed to minimize flow turbulence, ensuring accurate measurements.

Calibration and Accessories
  • Calibrated with 21cSt oil as standard; calibration certificates available upon request
  • Optional accessories include an infrared phototachometer and additional flow blocks

Installation Recommendations
It is advised to use flexible hoses 1-2 meters long for connecting the flow block, and all connections should be made by qualified personnel.

The testers are designed for testing hydraulic pumps, motors, valves and hydrostatic transmissions. l ACCURATE measurement of flow, pressure, temperature and speed. This easy to use diagnostic unit can pin point hydraulic system faults which reduces downtime and helps with preventive maintenance. The remote flow input can be easily configured by the operator for any LT/ LTR flow block. The calibration is retained in permanent memory. The remote input feature allows main hydraulic circuits and drain leakage flows to be measured simply at the turn of a switch. The tester comprises a turbine flow block and large easy to read digital display which indicates both flow and temperature. Speed and remote flow are selected by switch when required. The flow readout is scaled in lpm, gpm, and US gpm, selected by a push button. Optional accessories for the tester include an infra-red phototachometer and remote flow blocks. l BUILT-IN loading valve. l BI-DIRECTIONAL for unrestricted connection and simplified testing. l INTERNAL oil by-pass protects the tester and system against overpressure. l INPUTS 1 - Flow 1 - Temperature 1 - Speed l LOW power consumption from standard battery. Automatic “Power Off’ feature. l PORTABLE AND LIGHTWEIGHT with angled case for easier viewing and cleaning. l INFRA-RED PHOTOTACHOMETER with ‘On Target’ Indicator. Hydraulic measurement and control
