The PEB Fixtured Pneumatic Insertion System is designed for efficient setting and insertion technology. Key features include an automatic feed system, pneumatic drive, depth control, and optional insertion force control. The system allows for independent motion of the head stroke and drive stroke, and is available in different models to accommodate various fastener sizes. A version for robotic applications is also available, offering fast cycle times compared to traditional pick-and-place solutions.
The system is suitable for inserting a wide range of components such as screws, nuts, slices, balls, caps, sockets, nails, pins, bolts, and special parts.
The PEB system is available in two models: the Standard model and the Enhanced model. The Standard model is designed for general insertion applications, while the Enhanced model is tailored for more demanding pneumatic insertion tasks. The Standard model offers an insertion/setting power range of 50 to 600 N and weighs approximately 2.5 kg. The Enhanced model provides insertion/setting power up to 10,000 N and weighs approximately 15 kg. Both models require a pneumatic connection of 4 to 8 bar.
