The Wayne Model HSG power gas burners are engineered for high performance and reliability. Key features include higher static air pressure compared to standard burners, effective combustion in low draft conditions, and the ability to use both LP and Natural Gas. The burners have a flame retention head for adaptable flame shapes and positive premixing of gas and air for optimal combustion (9 to 11% CO2 on Natural Gas).
The design allows for easy service without removing the burner. The "Gas Gun" assembly can be easily removed for servicing or component replacement. External orifice changes are straightforward, and combustion components align automatically. Primary air adjustment is facilitated with an indicator.
The burners offer flexibility with orifice changes and adjustments to accommodate LP or Natural Gas across a range of 60M to 400M Btu/hr. They come with a complete range of marked orifice sizes and a primary air inlet designed for optional outside air intake. Components are industry-proven for performance and reliability, and an automatic off-cycle air damper minimizes efficiency loss.
Models include HSG 200 (60M to 200M Btu/hr) and HSG 400 (200M to 400M Btu/hr). They are supplied fully assembled and test-fired, with additional orifices and a combination redundant gas valve and ignition control package. The burners are individually cartoned, weigh 26 lbs, and are shipped 18 per pallet. They feature a 24-volt combination control, flamerod sensor with a 4-second safety shutdown, and direct spark ignition with a 7300-volt transformer. The motor operates at 3450 RPM, 115V, 2.44. The fan housing is made of aluminum alloy, and the air tube is available in standard lengths of 6", 9", and 12".
Part numbers and corresponding model numbers are provided for different tube lengths and capacities, ranging from 60-200 M Btu/hr to 200-400 M Btu/hr.
