Overview: The INFRA-RUB generators are gas pre-mix infrared burners designed for industrial heating processes. They are incident flame burners that combine convective and radiating heat transfer through a refracting block, concentrating radiation and producing an exhaust flu-gas stream.

Specifications: The SG (Single Grid) burner has a maximum capacity of 7,500 Kcal/hr, while the DG (Double Grid) model can produce 15,000 Kcal/hr. Both models can include a custom-built manifold for fuel mixture distribution. The burners are pre-mix and require 8’wc mix pressure for operation.

Components: Each burner includes a header for fuel mix access, a firing or diffusing pilot, support for the refractive block, and one or two refractive blocks depending on the model. They can also include firing and flame-detection systems.

Applications: These burners are suitable for industrial heating processes such as baking, drying, and curing in various industries including paper and pulp, food processing, fabric and carpet processing, ceramics, special coatings, and plastics. Specific applications include drying of corrugated cardboard, setting resins on cellulose fiber sheets, drying treated clothing, pre-treatment for offset printing, and curing of latex for carpets.

General Use: The burners are used in the manufacture of paper and pulp, paper coating applications, drying of clothing with moisture-repellent or fire-retardant substances, preheating materials for bonding, and thermal treatment or paint drying ovens.
