Thevalve body is epoxy coated cast iron and is operated by a handwheel or an operating nut and valve key. The resilient wedge disc design offers both positive seating and resistanceagainst high differential pressure. Series 405NRSRW is bestsuited for service in either the fully open or closed position. It is also suitable for use as a throttling valve. This series is recom-mended for irrigation, potable water, water distribution serviceand feed lines, and sewage disposal facilities. > ֕ASTM A126 Class B IronFull port flow, low head loss ՕEpoxy coated, internal and external Vulcanized encapsulated resilient wedgeՕEasy in-line serviceBoss-tapped and plugged ՕMSS-SP-70 conformance > Valve shall be manufactured out of ASTM A126 Class B ironand comply with MSS-SP-70. Valve shall be pressure rated to200psi (14 bars) CWP and have flanged ends. Valve shall have a non-rising stem, full port flow and epoxy coating. Valve shall be a Watts Regulator Company Series 405NRSRW. > Face-to-face dimensions of the valves comply with theAmerican Standard for face-to-face dimensions (ANSI B16.10)for Class 125 cast iron flanged valves. End Flanges: The dimensions and drilling of end flanges con-form to the American cast iron flange standard, Class 125(ANSI B16.1).
