Overview: The Series 97FB-CI is a range of cast iron simplex basket strainers designed for liquid and steam applications. Available in sizes from 2" to 12" (50-300mm), these strainers feature a plugged blow-off connection and angle-designed baskets. Larger sizes (8" and above) include a side drain facing the outlet. All models are equipped with a bolted cover and graphite gasket and must be installed horizontally.

Flow Coefficient (Cv): The Cv is the number of gallons per minute of water flowing through a given size restriction at a pressure drop of one psi. Conversion factors: gpm to lpm (multiply by 3.8), psi to bar (multiply by 0.069).

Standard Screens: Sizes 2"-3" have 0.045" openings, and sizes 4"-12" have 0.125" openings, both made from 304SS perforated material.
