Construction Types

Specifications
CPF**T1 and CPF**T2 strip heaters are designed with two offset bolt type terminals at one end. They are available with an aluminized steel sheath and can operate at a maximum sheath temperature of 1000°F. Standard voltage ratings include 120V and 240V, with options for 287V. Additional insulators are recommended when voltage to ground exceeds 300V.
Dimensions and Materials
Fins are made of 0.022” thick cadmium plated steel with approximately four fins per inch, measuring about 2” x 1 3/8”.
Extra Features
Custom designs are available upon request, including special wattage, voltage, and lengths. Lengthwise bending and additional insulators can be provided for specific applications.
Installation and Accessories
WATTCO™ strip heaters can be mounted using heavy-gauge, nickel-plated steel clamps. Ceramic post terminal covers are recommended for electrical shock protection. Perforated brass bus bars are available for connecting multiple heaters in series or parallel.
