To adjust sliping torques for those limiters, you have to proceed as follow: Sizes 10 to 30: Wind the adjusting nut until tight. Make sure that the discs springs are correctly centered on the locking washer. Use spanner to thighten the adjusting nut until no slip is observed under maximum load conditions. In order to avoid excess slip on machine start-up, it is common practice to turn the adjusting nut a further 60 degrees. Sizes 40 to 60: Wind the adjusting nut until tight against pilot plate.
