Open the catalog to page 1Stationary Field Design ■ Flange or bearing mounted styles ■ The SF design eliminates collector rings and brush-holder. Ideal for adverse environmental conditions. Mounting tolerances are generally more critical than the PC design. Stationary Field Design ■ The SFC Series clutch couplings employ the same basic components as the SF design except for a splined hub and adapter which serves as a coupling for in-line shaft applications. Brake ■ The PB Series brakes consist of a magnet, armature and mounting hub in a very simple and extremely compact design. Primary Design ■ Current is carried...
Open the catalog to page 2Custom design with off-the-shelf components For maximum mounting versatility and design flexibility Custom Design prod cts may be designed into the u most de andng and space restrictive m i appli aions. They require additional c t engineering and assembly capability, but their lower initial cost and wider range of sizes makes them an ideal consideration for many applications. Like all Warner Electric packaged clutches and brakes, they never need adjustment, and they are built to the same standards of quality and performance. Wide Range of Sizes Assembled around the basic...

Ideal for adverse environmental conditions. Mounting tolerances are generally more critical than the PC design. Current is carried through brushes and the collector ring to the rotating magnet. The PC design is less expensive than the SF design. Application A clutch is used when the load is driven to a parallel shaft through sheaves, belts, sprockets or gears. Stationary Field Design Flange or bearing mounted SFC series The SFC Series clutch...

Motor Brake MB motor brakes are composed of a PB Series brake mounted on a NEMA C-face adapter and cover assembly. combine a PC clutch and a PB brake into one compact design. A clutch-brake is used to combine the funcions of a clutch and a brake t in a compact assembly. A brake is used when a rotating load is to be stopped. SFPBC series Stationary Field Clutch/Brake...

This spacing is automatic and occurs prior to total mag etc decay, n i effectively eliminating noise by pre entng v i drag. The leaf springs which attach armature to hub pull the armature back sharply when the coil is deenergized, pro id v ing positive disen age ent. Wear, g m heat, and noise caused by dragging armatures are eliminated. • Bi-Directional Operation...
