Overview: The ILT Bin Level Indicators are designed for electric signaling through rotary action to indicate minimum or maximum material levels in bins, hoppers, or silos. They are used for materials with a bulk density ranging from 0.5 t/m³ to 2 t/m³.

Functionality: The paddle of the ILT indicator remains stationary when material is present. Once the material level drops below the paddle radius, the paddle rotates, activating other system components. These indicators can be mounted on the top or side of the container.

Specifications:

Mechanical Data: The enclosure is rated IP 65. The process connection threads are G1 1/4”, G1 1/2”, and G2 1/2”, made of plastic. The vane shaft and measuring vane are made of stainless steel. The system includes a friction clutch to protect the gearing from the measuring vane's impact. The pickup delay is approximately 1.3 seconds, and the sensitivity is adjustable in three positions. The vane speed is 1 r.p.m.
Electrical Data: The mains voltage options are 115V/230V, 50-80 Hz, or 24V/48V, 50-60 Hz, or 24V DC, with a tolerance of +10%/-15%. The installed load is 3 VA (3 W). The connection terminal supports up to 1.5 mm². The screwed cable gland is PG 13.5” plastic. The signal output is a floating microswitch with AC max. 250 V, 2 A, 500 W (Cos j=1) and DC max. 300 V, 2 A, 60 W. The connection diagram for AC is on a printed circuit, and for DC, it is inside the lid. The protection class is I.
Operating Conditions: The maximum container excess pressure is 0.8 bar. The temperature inside the vessel ranges from -20°C to 80°C, and the ambient temperature inside the casing ranges from -20°C to 70°C.

Installation and Accessories: The correct mounting requires the screwed cable gland to point downward. Accessories include a spring paddle and a lamp.

Additional Information: Two types of indicators are commonly used, one for maximum level and one for minimum level, screwed into pipe sockets with different threads (standard 1”) welded on the silo wall. They are available in voltages of 24/48 V, 110/230 V, 50/60 Hz, and 24 V DC.
