TMV Tub vibrator

Product catalog summary
Applications
Tub vibrators in the TMV model range are designed for finishing medium to large parts. They are suitable for parts that need to be processed without touching each other, using special fixtures or dividers.

All-Purpose Machines for Heavy Duty Applications
The TMV tub vibrators are versatile machines used for various applications including general deburring, heavy-duty radiusing, surface smoothing, polishing, de-greasing, surface cleaning, pickling, descaling, and derusting.

Design and Features
The TMV machines feature a Multivib vibratory drive system that ensures dynamic and homogeneous movement, preventing dead areas in the work bowl. This results in efficient finishing with reduced cycle times. They are particularly effective for challenging ball burnishing and pressure deburring tasks.

Model Range and Specifications
The TMV range offers modular designs with work bowl widths of 410, 550, 650, and 850 mm, and lengths of 1,750; 2,600; 3,450; 4,300; 5,150; 6,000; and 6,850 mm. Drive power varies from 5.5 kW to 18.5 kW for standard versions, and up to 22.0 kW for ball burnishing versions. The machines have a lining thickness of 15 to 25 mm and usable volumes ranging from 210 to 1,760 liters.

Technical Data
The document provides detailed technical specifications, including dimensions, drive power, and lining thickness for various models. Standard speed is 1,500 RPM, with optional variable speed via a frequency inverter.

TMV Tub vibrator-1

TUB VIBRATORS – MODEL RANGE TMV TROWAL SURFACE FINISHING Tub vibrators – model range TMV APPLICATIONS Tub vibrators with their rectangular work bowl are ideal for finishing mid size to large parts, even, depending on the size of the work bowl, very large parts. Normally, the parts are placed into the work bowl loose where they are freely rotating within the processing media. DELICATE PARTS Parts which cannot touch each other during the process because of the risk of part impingement are either clamped with special work piece fixtures, or they are placed individually in separate processing chambers in the work bowl created by special dividers. ALL-PURPOSE MACHINES FOR HEAVY DUTY APPLICATIONS The TMV tub vibrators are especially powerful “all-round” mass finishing machines that are used for a broad range of applications: • General deburring • Heavy duty radiusing (edge breaking) • Surface smoothing • Polishing • De-greasing • Surface cleaning • Pickling, descaling, derusting

Drive power – standard version (kW)* Drive power – ball burnishing version (kW)* Quantity of imbalance units . Standard speed = 1,500 RPM; variable speed with frequency inverter, (optional) **Not available for ball burnishing * IDEAL FOR HEAVY DUTY MASS FINISHING APPLICATIONS The specially designed Multivib vibratory drive system generates a very dynamic, homogeneous rotary movement of the part/media mass over the complete work bowl length. The Multivib system prevents any “dead” areas in the work bowl with less intensive movement and produces the desired finishing results in lower cycle times....
