Flexsteel™ is a high-performance flap disc introduced by Walter Surface Technologies, designed specifically for use with low-powered angle grinders. It is part of the Walter flap disc line and offers a unique solution for workers using tools with less than 8.0 Amps of electrical current.
The Flexsteel™ disc features a special zirconia alumina abrasive grain blend that micro fractures with less pressure, making it suitable for low power tools. It provides a high removal rate and above-average life on steel, with a trimmable backing to extend disc life. It is an economical choice for blending sharp corners, heavy deburring, or blending in fillet welds.
The Flexsteel™ discs are available in various diameters and grit sizes, including 4 1⁄2” and 5” diameters with grit options of 40, 60, 80, and 120. Each variant has a specific order number and maximum RPM, ensuring compatibility with different applications.
Flexsteel™ is ideal for maintenance, repair, and operations (MRO), light manufacturing, metal fabrication, construction, and oil & gas equipment sectors.

FLEXSTEEL™ Flexsteel™ is the newest addition to the Walter flap disc line. It features a unique zirconia alumina abrasive grain blend that micro fractures with less pressure than the grains used in our Enduro-Flex™ product. This means that while Enduro-FlexTM still provides more life and a higher removal rate in most applications, Flexsteel™ actually provides a better solution for workers who use power tools with less than 8.0 Amps of electrical current.
