A question of viewing angle The entire microscope column together with the transmitted light can be swiveled within +/- 20° by handwheel to measure especially profiles (e.g. worm drives, tap drills, etc) in normal section. The swiveling angle is shown by a scale with 1° pitch. The handwheel with its precise drive and gear reduction of 2° per rotation ensures an accurate angle adjustment. A clamping lever fixes the column in this position safely. The precision measuring stage with a measuring range of 250 x 150 mm has a +/- 4° swiveling plate for manual workpiece alignment.
