A question of viewing angle The entire microscope column together with the transmitted light can be swiveled within +/- 20° by handwheel to measure especially profiles (e.g. worm drives, tap drills, etc) in normal section. The swiveling angle is shown by a scale with 1° pitch. The handwheel with its precise drive and gear reduction of 2° per rotation ensures an accurate angle adjustment.
