The systems in this series offer outputs of 60, 80, 100, 125 and 160 kVA and are used in industrial and production settings all over the world. Additional systems can be connected parallel to provide for redundant operation (half load parallel operation, n+1 operation) or to increase the output. This allows the UPS system to be augmented to answer increasing power requirements. All controls for the JOVYSTAR pro are completely digitalized. The two independent processors that control the rectifier and inverter with static bypass provide an additional safety feature. The JOVYSTAR pro IGBT rectifier ensures that all upstream network interruptions do not affect the connected devices. JOVYSTAR pro series systems allow for near sinusoidal power consumption. Due to the improved power factor at the input of the rectifier, this UPS system consumes up to 30% less input power that standard UPS systems with a the thyristor rectifier. The reduced power at the input of the rectifier and the reduced apparent power allow for significant savings in the dimensioning of the distribution, fuses and cable. JOVYSTAR pro systems can be operated with various battery systems. The JOVYSTAR pro is equipped with an intelligent charger for recharging diverse energy storage devices. The newly developed DCM charging process (dynamic charging mode) ensures that more power is made available for battery charging when the UPS system is not operating at full capacity. This significantly reduces the amount of time needed to charge your batteries. We also offer design-compliant battery racks for short bridging times. Our standard series is equipped with maintenance-free lead acid batteries featuring AGM technology. We also offer solutions with OpzS and OGi batteries for longer autonomy times. The operation panel allows all functions to be easily operated. The program control menu easily directs the user to all display and operational functions of the system. An clear text display shows all measurements, alarms and status reports.
