Product Range: www.jovyatlas.de www.jovyatlas.de www.jovyatlas.de Small Loadbank Loadstar SL Loadbanks Loadstar SL (AC or DC) 5 - 20 kW The series Loadstar SL (Smart Load) with a power range of 5 kW up to 20 kW was specifically designed for mobile use. The compact design of the Loadstar SL as well as steering wheels and side-mounted handles ensure an easy transport and the uncomplicated handling of these load banks. Using our Loadstar SL - systems you will have the perfect ability to perform load tests quickly and location-independently. In order to be independent of external supply voltages, all types of this series are self-ventilated. For ease, the power steps could be selected directly on the device by manual switches. The load is connected via externally accessible insulated toggle clamps. Loadstar SL - series loadbanks are constructed in a sturdy steel housing. Upon request we manufacture the casing in stainless steel. The coloring can be done according customers wishes. We use the color RAL 5002 (ultramarine blue) for standard color. All types in this series are mounted on casters for mobile application and an easy handling. Loadstar SL loadbanks are manufactured both for AC connection as well as for DC connection. To realize the different supply voltages and power steps / areas we use the following types of built-in resistor elements: Tube Resistors PT 1000 Resistors of type PT 1000 are tube resistors with copper nickel wire wrapped on a ceramic tube. The copper nickel wire has got a constant resistance value over a wide temperature range. By varying the diameter of the ceramic tubes and length, different power levels could be achieved. Resistor Modules WPR Resistor elements of the series WPR consist of a ceramic substrate equipped steel sheet, on which a wire winding is applied. By this compact design, we can achieve high resistance values with high accuracy but small dimension. The resistor modules WPR ensure constant resistance values over a wide temperature range. Resistor elements out of this series are able to compensate very high peak power for short-term exposure. The flat design and various lengths and widths enabling a space-saving, compact design. Another advantage is the ability to integrate the wounded elements of WPR series within the system of our HWS resistance grids. Resistor Modules HWS HWS steel grid resistor elements of JOVYATLAS are chrome alloyed, heat-resistant stainless steel sheets which are punched meandering. Different punch patterns enable the realisation of different, well-defined resistance values retaining the same element size. For systems of Loadstar SL - series, we use individual elements of this type with 45 different resistance values and a load current of up to 150 A / 500 W per steel grid. By parallel and series connection of these grides almost all kinds of resistance values can be realized The resistor elements of JOVYATLAS are exceptionally heat-resistant and durable. .
