General Information
JOVYATLAS has become a leading manufacturer of grounding resistors in recent years. Through continuous dialogue with customers and numerous completed projects, they have defined complete series in this area. The production of grounding resistors is carried out using the latest manufacturing methods, ensuring high quality through a quality management system certified to DIN EN ISO 9001:2000.

Construction
Grounding resistors consist of an electrical part, including resistor blocks and monitoring (active part), and a specially designed housing (passive part). JOVYATLAS provides steel sheet housings for grounding resistors, either Sendzimir galvanized or made of stainless steel upon request. Painted grounding resistors can be customized in color using a high-performance polyester resin-based powder coating system. Depending on size and weight, a self-supporting housing or a stable base frame is used. JOVYATLAS supplies grounding resistors with protection classes IP00, IP20, IP23, and IP54, designed according to IEEE-STD 32-1972 standards. The active part is designed to prevent overloading from nominal voltage or current. The resistor elements are made from robust, stainless steel plates with meander-shaped cutouts to achieve the desired resistance value. JOVYATLAS has extensive experience from numerous projects, allowing for cost-optimized resistor designs through simulation models.

Options
Various options are available, including vacuum circuit breakers, load disconnect switches, current transformers, current relays, special resistor materials, revision doors, and stainless steel housings with protection classes IP23/IP54.

Specifications
