Product Range: www.jovyatlas.de www.jovyatlas.de www.jovyatlas.de Load Bank PLM JOVYATLAS provides with its PLM load bank series test resistors in the power range from 100 - 1000 kW. Load banks in this series can be adjusted in steps of 1kW via a panel which is integrated in the cabinet door. Upon request, the load banks can be fitted out with a remote con- (cable length up to 1000 m). A convenient user interface with a modern touch panel the optional PLC control available, too. Through the use of special stainless steels the temperature coefficient, so that the selected load remains almost constant even during load steps possess a very small heating of the resistance elements . A special design and arrangement of the elements allows the compact design of our PLM series. The housing of the load bank can be supplied for both fixed installation and on wheels or on a trailer mounted (with road approval). The load banks of the PLM series are built-up in a modular way. The separate load steps are designed as an insertion into the resistance tunnel. By intelligent design and special, adjusted ventilation and air flow guiding grids, we achieve an uniform distribution of heat within the resistor tunnel. The modular design enables the easy replacement of single resistor modules in case of needful repair. In the standard version of the PLM series the individual load steps can be selected directly with rotary switches. For a more convenient resistance tunnel operation a PLC integrated into the PLM load bank is optional available. In this embodiment, the remote control is equipped with a touch panel. The desired load values can be adjusted directly and 1kW exactly. Alternatively a tapping mode can be selected, in which the load levels in 100 kW, 10 kW resistor modules and 1 kW increments can be adapted very quickly to the test item. In addition it is possible to store your own load profiles and retrieve when needed. Thus reproducible tests are possible without much effort. Using the integrated data logger, measurement data can be logged and analyzed later on the computer. Measurement data such as voltage, current, power etc. can be visualized as well as error messages on the display. Load banks with integrated PLC controllers can be configured as master/slave devices so that multiple load banks can be controlled with a remote control or can be enhanced in future. The PLM series of JOVYATLAS has become a proven standard product which has been successfully deployed worldwide and in large numbers. The PLM series has been developed by an ongoing dialogue with our customers. Customized adjustments are possible. All systems of the JOVYATLAS PLM series are designed for heavy duty applications. Eyebolts enable transport by crane for loading and positioning. Optional available insertion slots for forklifts allow the easy and safe transport. In case of extreme stability requirements (common crane loading, harsh operating value, etc.), the PLM load bank will be optionally equipped with a sturdy steel frame.
