Product catalog summary
Introduction
The document discusses the T-Load series of load banks designed for pulse operation, which have seen increased demand due to their suitability for applications requiring rapid on/off switching. Traditional switches are inadequate for these applications, leading to the use of advanced IGBT transistors in T-Load systems.

Specifications
The T-Load systems operate as DC loads, utilizing durable steel grid resistors from the HWS and SPR series, or MPR series resistance modules for high loads in compact forms. The HWS series offers 500 W per grid with 45 different resistance elements, while the SPR series is optimized per application. The systems can be integrated into computer-controlled test stands.

Electronics
Intelligent electronics enable quick load changes with minimal loss using MOSFET power semiconductors. The T-Load series is primarily for DC loads but can be customized for AC loads with a rectifier.

Design and Advantages
The load banks are housed in stable sheet steel, with dimensions of 600 cm x 2200 cm x 810 cm. They are easily integrated into existing test facilities via terminal strips. The systems are designed for dynamic tests with features like no wearout, no vibration, and no switching noises.

Technical Data
Key specifications include a voltage supply of 3 x 400V/N ±10%, frequency of 50 Hz ± 5%, and operation in ambient temperatures of 0 to +40°C. The protection class is IP 20, and the systems are classified under DIN, VDE, and IEC standards.

Product Range
The T-Load series includes models with power ratings from 60 kW to 240 kW, with varying dimensions and weights. Each model supports pulsed operation and fast load alternations.

Product Range www.jovyatlas.de www.jovyatlas.de www.jovyatlas.de Loadbanks for Pulse Operation T-Load The demand for microprocessor-controlled resistance load banks, which are suitable for a pulsed operation, has steadily increased in recent years. The determination pulse load describes loads that can be turned on and off in a very short time. For these applications, conventional switches such as contactors and relays are not suitable. Therefore the systems of our T-Load series are equipped with advanced IGBT transistors. All T-Load systems operate as DC load. The loads in the T-Load are realized with our proven steel grid resistors of the HWS and SPR series or with our resistance modules of series MPR. All these resistive elements are extremely durable and robust. They are made of stainless steel plates, whose composition is specifically created for JOVYATLAS. The grids of the HWS-series are rated 500 W per grid. In this series we produce 45 different resistance elements. By parallel and series switching nearly any resistance valuescan be realized. In the SPR series, the resistor elements are optimized for each respective application and therefore these elements were made order-related in various material thicknesses. Our resistance to the MPR series modules are always used when we want to realize high loads in a compact form. We realize the meander form by welding stamped resistance bands together. Load banks of the T-Load - series can be integrate ideally into computer controlled test stands and existing computer systems. Electronics of the T-Load To perform load changes quickly and without any loss, we have developed intelligent electronics for the T-Load systems. By opening or closing of the MOSFET power semiconductors via an interface, the load to the test sample is raised or lowered by a fixed amount. A MOSFET power semiconductor switches with virtually no loss and is therefore in a position to perform many shifts in a short time. Conventional power switches are limited in their ability to do this. The T-Load series has been designed for DC loads. Optionally, this series can be fitted out with a rectifier, so that AC loads can be connected, too. Further customization for various applications are available of course. Design and Advantages of T-Load Systems Normally we supply the load banks of the T-Load series in a stable sheet steel housing sized 600 cm x 2200 cm x 810 cm (W x H x D). In two other steel cases the electronics are integrated. Per 60 kW load level a further is needed. All signals to or from external are placed on a terminal strip, so that the T-Load system easily can be integrated into existing test facilities. Leaflet Loadbank for Pulse Operation T-Load 03/2013
