With their online dual transducer technology the systems in this series fulfill the most demanding requirements which are found in the VFI-SS-111 protection class. The JOVYTEC P series is equipped with a diagnosis testing system which gets activated every time the UPS system is started, as well as with a fan control unit, connected to the output of the UPS and an active PFC (Power Factor Correction) that ensures sinusoidal power consumption. The output voltage is also sinusoidal at all JOVYTEC P systems. JOVYTEC P series UPS systems constantly supply the connected equipment with a pre-set frequency. The input frequency can be set between 45 and 65 Hz. The JOVYTEC P series was tested and given the highest rating by a number of diverse independent institutes. The easily accessible and user-friendly operation panel allows to choose between four different operating modes: Online Mode, Green Mode, Free Running Mode and Generator Mode. • In Online Mode the connected equipment is continously supplied through the inverter in accordance with VFI-SS-111. The inverter delivers sinusoidal voltage „grade 02“. The power supply to the equipment is not interrupted even in case of power failure. • In Green Mode the user is normally supplied through the bypass. In cases of voltage fluctuations or power failure, power is supplied through the inverter. Intelligent software ensures that the switch takes place almost entirely without interruption. Efficiency can be increased to more than 98% in Green Mode. • The UPS system’s input frequency can fluctuate between 45-65 Hz in Free Running Mode. The JOVYTEC P maintains a completely stable output frequency. The frequency parameters can be configured with the software. • In Generator Mode the JOVYTEC P prevents frequent switching when the generator’s output voltage is distorted. This operating mode greatly decreases the strain on the batteries. It also offers a high level of operational security for the equipment. The JOVYTEC P batteries can be easily replaced from the front side of the device. The entire battery pack can be replaced during active operation with low effort.
